WAF is the only awards programme where all finalists present their projects live to a panel of judges at the festival in Singapore. This year's entries are now closed and the shortlist is now revealed!

See who will be scrutinising your submissions and recognising the world's most groundbreaking architectural and design achievements at WAF 2024.
This year's WAF and Inside judging panel's will boast over 140 leading architects, designers, journalists, and industry experts. Jury members already confirmed include Kelley Cheng, Sanjay Puri, Mariana Simas, Sonali Rastogi, Mario Cucinella, Emre Arolat, Ian Ritchie, Charu Kokate, Yael Reisner, Sir Peter Cook, Nigel Coates and more!
What is WAFX?
Launched in WAF’s 10th year, WAFX celebrates international proposals which embrace cutting-edge design addressing major world issues. Ranging from tackling the climate emergency to building community resilience.
How to enter
All WAFX winners are chosen from the WAF Future Projects shortlist with no additional cost or material needed from the entrant. Winners will go on to present their project live at WAF in Singapore with an overall WAFX winner announced at the Gala Dinner.

The winning projects for each of the 2024 categories have been revealed. They will all go on to present their projects live on the Festival Hall Stage later this year, and the overall WAFX winner will be revealed at the Gala Dinner.
Additional Prizes
Architecture Book of the Year Award
Publishers were invited to submit entries to the inaugural Architecture Book of the Year Award programme. Entries for the 2024 edition will open in April.
Special Prizes
Recognising excellence
Alongside the WAF award categories are a host of special prizes awarded to projects from the main shortlist. Entrants do not have to pay any additional fees to be considered for the prizes.

WAF China
The WAF China is the official partner of the prestigious World Architecture Festival (WAF) for mainland China, Hong Kong, Macau, and Taiwan. We bring the same world-class experience to the region, offering a vibrant and enriching festival for Chinese design professionals. WAF China fosters a relaxed and open atmosphere, where participants can connect and engage with leading figures in both Chinese and international design.
