Yasemin Sener is a multifaceted professional in the fields of architecture, communication, and publishing. After graduating from Middle East Technical University with a degree in architecture, she began her career in the editorial departments of architecture and design magazines. Her focus on communication and publishing within the design, architecture, and building sectors led to the founding of pRchitect Media & Communications company in 2012, which became Turkey's first communication agency specifically dedicated to architecture and design.
In 2017, she acquired the concession rights for YAPI, Turkey's oldest architecture magazine, ensuring its continuity after 51 years of publication. In 2021, she further expanded her influence in the field by launching the Milliyet Mimarlık supplement, a collaborative project with Milliyet newspaper and YAPI magazine, aimed at increasing the visibility and discussion of architecture at a national level.
Currently, Yasemin Sener holds the position of Publisher and Editorial Director for YAPI and Milliyet Mimarlık magazines, all operating under the umbrella of pRchitect Media & Communications. She leads a talented team in providing consultancy services in communication, publishing, and content management to a diverse array of architectural companies and organizations.
Throughout her career, she has spearheaded numerous publications, events, and initiatives designed to elevate the visibility of Turkish architects on both national and international stages, while also cultivating synergistic collaboration among key stakeholders in the building sector. Her exemplary contributions were honored with the Publication Award at the 15th TSMD Architecture Awards, presented by the Turkish Association of Architects, underscoring her commitment to advancing architectural awareness in Turkey.
