Robert Ivy, FAIA, has served as leader in two critical positions in architecture, each for over a decade—as Editor-in-Chief of Architectural Record and as Chief Executive Officer of the American Institute of Architects. An architect, author/editor, association leader, and educator, his focus has been to broaden the knowledge and appreciation of architects and architecture. His books include the recently released Out There: New Architecture Across America, Fay Jones, and Chateau La Coste: Art and Architecture in Provence.
