"Ms. Ou Kenan is the Executive Director of MORROW Architects & Planners Pte Ltd in Singapore, a Full Member of the Singapore Institute of Planners, and a Council Member of the Singapore-China Association. She has over 20 years of professional experience across Singapore and China, having delivered dozens of urban planning and design projects in more than 30 cities across Asia. Since relocating to Singapore in 2009 to join RSP Architects & Planners, and subsequently MORROW Architects & Planners, Ms. Ou has been involved in a wide range of projects, including strategic and master planning for large-scale metropolitan regions serving populations ranging from hundreds of thousands to tens of millions. Her work also encompasses new town and community planning, urban regeneration, central business districts, industrial and commercial developments, cultural-tourism towns, and rural revitalization. Project scales range from a few hectares to over 5,000 square kilometres. From 2008 to 2009, she participated in the postgraduate interdisciplinary program Bauhaus Kolleg X at the Bauhaus in Dessau, Germany, where her research focused on post-war new town developments in Europe and Asia influenced by modernist theory. From 2002 to 2008, she was involved in a wide range of projects in China, covering urban planning, urban design, landscape, and architectural practice. Ms. Ou has led and supervised multiple award-winning projects recognized both internationally and domestically, including the World Architecture Festival (WAFX) Smart City Award and the Singapore Institute of Planners Excellence Award (Gold), as well as numerous provincial and municipal planning awards across China. These achievements reflect her ability to reimagine urban development within national and regional strategies, positioning cities and regions for sustainable and future-ready growth. She is also an invited speaker and judge at professional and academic platforms in Singapore, China, and South Korea."
