Johnny Chiu is the founder of JC. Architecture & Design, a multidisciplinary studio in Taiwan and the U.S., known for projects that merge experimentation with cultural authenticity. His work spans architecture, interiors, furniture, and public installations, including The Moving Kitchen (Taiwan Railway), A Little Museum Store (Taipei Fine Arts Museum), Penghu Ferry, and Jade Mountain Bench (Times Square, NYC). Featured in CNN Travel, Le Monde, and Vanity Fair Italy, Johnny also founded the OUT Scholarship, supporting design students to engage with global cultures. He is a juror and speaker at platforms such as the World Architecture Festival, Frank Lloyd Wright School of Architecture, and San Diego Design Week. His awards include Red Dot: Best of the Best, iF Design Award Gold (2023), and GQ Designer of the Year (2020). He holds a Master from Columbia GSAPP and a PhD from RMIT.
