Jan Clostermann is the Founding Director of CLOU architects, an international practice with studios in Shanghai and Beijing. After graduating from the Architectural Association in London in 2001, his early work with Alsop brought him to China in 2004. There, he played a key role in the Shanghai International Cruise Terminal and led the delivery of Raffles City Beijing. In 2015, Jan established CLOU, a studio now internationally recognized for its dedication to Social Space and the creation of vibrant public realms at the heart of commercial developments. Beyond his practice, Jan actively contributes to the global design community as a frequent lecturer and a jury member.
