Dr Harry Charrington is Professor of Architecture at the University of Westminster. He has taught and practiced architecture and planning in the UK and Finland. He has a particular interest in the history of modernism and has published extensively on the Aalto atelier, including an oral history Alvar Aalto: the Mark of the Hand that won the 2012 RIBA President’s Medal for Research.
