Rita Rawashdeh has amassed over 22 years of experience in architecture, urban planning, landscape, and interior design. Throughout her career, she has led teams of architects and professionals in Maisam Architects, collaborating closely with stakeholders across various regions, including Jordan, UAE, India, Saudi Arabia, Oman, and the United States, to design notable projects such as the Baptism Site of Jordan, governmental schools, housing projects, and the Petra Museum.
Rawashdeh's reputation as a respected architect extends beyond designing projects. She has served as a jury member for several competitions, including Rethink Future and A’Design Awards & Competition, Ethiopian Satellite Preschool in Africa by Archstorming, and World Architecture Festival, and was a Grand Award Jury member for A’Design Awards & Competition. Rawashdeh is a member of the Entrepreneur Organization (EO) and a Next-Gen Woman of the Year Finalist at the Women in Construction Forum.
Winning many awards, including the 2019 WAF Educational Future Project of The Year for The School in A Park, and the WAFX Ethics and Values Award.
Rita's commitment to excellence and expertise in architecture and design has solidified her reputation in her region. Allowed her to contribute to an Urban Development Sector, proposing pilot initiatives aim to further the progress of urban development in Jordan. These initiatives serve as a foundation for future work in the field.
