We're seeking the most innovative and talented architects under 40 as of June 30, 2025. This is a unique opportunity to have your work recognised on a global stage and celebrate the rising stars shaping the future of architecture. Submissions are now open!
Have your work exhibited at WAF
Forty exceptional architects will be selected and featured in a dedicated 40 Under 40 exhibition at the prestigious World Architecture Festival in Miami, where their work will be seen by some of the world’s most influential architects.
In partnership with The Architect's Newspaper
The 40 Under 40 North America edition is a collaboration between WAF and The Architect's Newspaper; the 40 selected individuals will have their work featured in The Architect's Newspaper.
Why Enter?
- Have your work showcased at WAF in Miami and be seen by some of the world's most influential architects.
- Each recipient will receive a complimentary standard ticket to WAF, though attendance is not mandatory.
- The 40 Under 40 will be featured in The Architect’s Newspaper.
- Each individual will be featured on the WAF website and promoted to the WAF audience and media partners.
- Your work will be reviewed by an international judging panel, including representatives from WAF and The Architect's Newspaper.
Entry Criteria and Requirements
- Entrants must be architects aged 40 or under on 30 June 2025.
- Entrants must be from the United States, Canada or Mexico.
- Submissions should comprise of 2 x A2 boards (digitally uploaded on the online entry form)
One should feature a completed building/interior; the other can comprise any design project or design idea.
We will print the boards of the chosen 40, and they will be exhibited at WAF in Miami.
